There are multiple tools that we use in our coachi There are multiple tools that we use in our coaching to #makethemost out of our clients personal goals.

Of course, one of them is personal training. Second thing - you probably know - is nutritional & lifestyle consulting. And to support nutrition and training there is a third thing:

𝙎𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙡𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨.

If you're not living in the country side, with local farmers, bunch of sun light and local beef productions you'll most probably need supplements in order to get all the necessary micro and macro nutrients in to have everything cover'd that your body needs to function optimally.

To celebrate the launch of @coverdsupplements we’d like to do a give away! You can be one of the first to receive an Essential Package from Cover'd with the complete supplement line-up: Vitamin D3/K2, Magnesium, Multivitamin, Protein, Amino.

Here’s what you have to do to participate:

1. Follow @coverdsupplements and @mtmgym

2. Tag a friend in the comments and tell us why you need Cover’d’s basic supplements

3. Repost this in your story

4. 𝙒𝙚'𝙡𝙡 𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙬𝙞𝙣𝙣𝙚𝙧 𝙤𝙣 𝙁𝙧𝙞𝙙𝙖𝙮, 12.08.2022!

We'll announce the winner via our story and leave them a DM.

Good luck! 🍀
Repost due to spelling mistakes. Let’s focus on Repost due to spelling mistakes.

Let’s focus on the most important time of the day first - mornings. If we start the day right, the rest of the day is more likely to go well.

If we manage to go to bed at the same time every night and wake up at the same time every morning, at some point the hormones are in a healthy balance and the body automatically adjusts to the sleeping habits. You probably don’t even need the alarm anymore. 😉

What we should do first thing in the morning is to drink a glass of water to replenish water stores. And because we also sweat out electrolytes, we should replenish them with salt intake. You can add 1/4 tsp of salt - preferably Himalayan salt - to the water to compensate the salt loss.

Also, for the energy boost we like to add the juice of one lime. Lime juice is very alkaline and also helps to stabilize our blood sugar.

If you want to take even further, add 15g of amino acids & electrolytes by @coverdsupplements to the drink and give your body the essential building blocks for your neurotransmitters and muscles.

𝗦𝗼, 𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗱𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲!

For a perfect healthy morning, only one thing is missing now: Breakfast. It’s not only about what we eat but also when.

The optimal time for breakfast for most people is within an hour after getting up. This provides the body with all the important nutrients it needs. The timing also ensures that your blood sugar is more stable throughout the day.

Proteins and fats are essential. We need them to keep our bodies healthy, as they support a wide range of processes in the body. Carbs, on the other hand, should not be eaten for breakfast or should be eaten in small amounts, as they immediately raise blood sugar levels. To avoid fatigue and cravings throughout the day we should keep our breakfast low carb.

𝗞𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝘂𝗽 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗺𝗶𝗱-𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗮𝗯𝗶𝘁𝘀. 🙌🏼

Hey, I am Regitze, or just Regie, and I recently j Hey, I am Regitze, or just Regie, and I recently joined the MTM team, transitioning from being an MTM client to becoming a Personal Trainer myself.

Originally from Denmark, I moved to Berlin three years ago after finishing my bachelor’s degree in International Business Communication. I started my career in marketing, but I have always had a love for sports and fitness.

During my time as a client at MTM, my passion for the industry grew. I became determined to make a change in my career path and MTM made this shift possible for me.

It is amazing to be part of such a professional and talented team that shares the same passion as me.

At MTM I have been able to combine work with my passion, which is a dream come true.

Everyone has them, some are good and some are not: Everyone has them, some are good and some are not: Habits.

It’s the things you automatically do everyday. Because you always did.

Question or even change them can be challenging. But once you realize how great the impact of one little good habit can be, it might change your mind. 💭

Now why should we integrate little habits into our daily lives?

Habits determine our lives. Either in a good and constructive way or vice versa. And here is where it gets tricky: You may think now ‘Oh ok, I probably have to change my life completely to be successful’. But it doesn’t have to be a big change. It’s the small things. We often expect to achieve great things if we just do great things. But the smaller the habit, the more realistic it is to keep them. And that makes the difference.

This is how we work at MTM. We choose suitable little habits our clients can easily incorporate into their daily lives. And more importantly that they can effortlessly keep them. Sometimes it’s just replacing a bad habit with a good one. Some habits are completely new. It always depends on the individual situation of a person.

To give you a better idea we will take a close look at different habits according to the time of the day in the next posts. So as always: Stay tuned! 💪🏼

There are a few things you should keep in mind whe There are a few things you should keep in mind when you include squats in your training plan:

🏋️ Do warm up sets

Before starting with heavy weights, always warm up with the exercise itself. Squats demand full focus, you want to activate your central nervous system to perform well from the very first set. When you are squatting 40kg in your first set, one warm up set with 50% of the load for 6-8 reps should be enough. When your first working set is 100kg for 6 reps, you need to do multiple warm up sets:
20kg x 6 reps
50kg x 6 reps
65kg x 4 reps
90kg x 2 reps

🏋️ Do your squats primarily in the A-series

Squats should be done in the beginning of your training. Many joints and muscles are involved which is why your body and nervous system need all the power and concentration.

🏋️ Combine them with the right exercises

When training for maximum strength, do not pair squats with another exercise. You can do only squats in your A-series with an appropriate break between the sets. In case you are training for hypertrophy in higher rep ranges, you can combine squats with leg curls. When training for fat loss, squats combined with an upper body exercise result in a very high metabolic effect.

Never combine squats with deadlifts or other exercises that involve a lot of work for the lower back.

So that’s it! If you still have any questions about the squat, write them down in the comments. And if not - ready, set, squat!

I'm Tom, 27 years old and personal trainer at MTM I'm Tom, 27 years old and personal trainer at MTM since November 2021.

In addition, I support the corporate cooperation with @scout24_official

I chose MTM because both the concept and the team are special. For me, it is crucial that the coaching takes place on the training floor but also goes beyond that.

Strength training is a great passion for me which I have been practicing for almost 10 years. The sport as well as a healthy and goal specific diet, a good mindset in training, a certain discipline and many other aspects have made me grow not only as a trainer but also as a person. That's why I'm happy to inspire others with it.

After my school years I moved to Cologne to study at the renowned German Sport University. A few years after my studies, I decided to come to Berlin.

So now I'm ready to #makethemost with you!
